Clary sage essential oil comes from a perennial herb with large hairy purple tinted green leaves. Clary Sage can be distinguished by the size of its leaves and by the bluish white blooms it bears in late summer. Small blue flowers grow out from large bracts, pinkish in colour. The bush reaches four feet in height. Clary Sage essential oil is great for balancing the hormonal system and is helpful for relieving stress, mood swings and also for relieving skin. It soothes the nervous system and has a calming effect. It is also know as being an oil that is all about "clarity," as it gives you the ability to see situations more clearly.

How to Use: To create your own custom wellness, bath and body products. Choose any of Escents' scentless products or carriers and add 10-20 drops per 30ml or 1oz of product. You can also add 5-8 drops in an aroma diffuser to scent your space, deodorize and purify the air.
For topical application: Mix 4-20 drops of essential oil with 10 ml of carrier oil.
For local application: Apply to affected area up to three times per day.
For body massage: Apply once daily.
For Steam inhalation: Add 6-24 drops of undiluted essential oil to a bowl of steaming water/facial steamer. Inhale slowly and deeply for 5-10 minutes. Up to three times per day. Do not use essential oils undiluted.

Hair Care: Good choice for controlling oily hair.
Respiratory System: Helps treat asthma, throat infections and whooping cough.
Muscular & Skeletal: Great for treating muscle soreness, spasms and cramps.
Circulatory System: Helps balance circulatory system. Lowers high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Great for hemorrhoids and varicose veins.
